'Formed in 2023, Härva is a vibrant trio of three artists with deep and contrasting musical roots. The group is led by Swiss-Swedish violinist Viljo Busch, passionate about Transylvanian traditions and trained with the legendary Taraf de Haidouks, as well as British accordionist Faith Elliott-Ristic, a leading figure in Serbian Roma music. Settled in the Jura region after an international career, she has collaborated with Emir Kusturica and performed on the world's greatest stages (Royal Albert Hall, WOMAD, National Folk Festival, etc.). Their collaboration gives rise to a unique sonic universe blending violin, accordion, guitar, tabor pipe, and voice. Alongside them, the talented Swiss guitarist Lucian Caceres, a specialist in gypsy jazz, completes this incandescent trio. Inspired by festive Romanian dances, poignant Roma chants, Swedish vocal harmonies, the rhythms of Serbian Kolo and the Balkan jazz of Ionica Minune, Härva takes the audience on a musical odyssey between tradition and modernity' Fondation FARB, Switzerland
